Our Mission
Helicon: The Yale Undergraduate Journal of Classics is a literary magazine published annually and widely distributed throughout the Yale community. It seeks to foster scholarship in the Classics by providing undergraduate students with a forum to print their writings. Published in a digital format, the journal provides accessible content in order to bridge perceived gaps between Classics and contemporary discussions. We accept submissions from undergraduate students around the world, aiming to establish a network of support and a sense of community among undergraduate, graduate students, and faculty in the Classics. We look forward to sharing the newest issue of Helicon with you soon!
